No two people create scrapbook pages exactly alike because we all have our own personal style and most of us do not consider ourselves “trendy”.  However, our pages are definitely influenced because of the products available to us in our favorite scrapbook stores, ideas we find on the web, or our favorite scrapbook magazines.  I mean…really… how many of us use Stickles in one way or another… and who thought scrapbooking would become so popular 10 years ago.  We will have fun at this crop weekend learning about the “Trendy Trends for 2012” and even getting to try some of them out. 

It will be the same fun crop that you always enjoy with Smoky Mountain Scrapbooking except we’re having it in a “quiet mountain spot”, easy to get to, no traffic, and right off of I-40 in Newport, TN at the Carson Springs Baptist Conference Center.

There are several different package options available for you to choose from. Be sure to read the package details carefully to be sure you are choosing the one you want.

The accommodations at Carson Springs are very nice and comfortable. Each room has two double beds, linens and towels, private bath, and telephone.

Prices are based on room occupancy and include your cropping space, and all meals.

Meals will be served via a buffet line and consists of a hot bar, salad/cold bar, bread and dessert bar, and two beverage stations. A variety of hot and cold items are served with each meal.

If you love to scrapbook, beginner or advanced, we promise that this weekend will be packed full of fun, lots of door prizes, making new friends, discovering new ways to tell your stories, learning new techniques during the make & takes and winning extra prizes by entering our page contests. Get away for the weekend with your favorite scrapbookers and get your scrapbook pages done.

Also, because "scrapbooking space" is limited at this facility we will close registration at 52 scrapbookers.

To Register: Just pick the package that specifies how many will be in your room, and indicate your roommates on your registration form. If someone in your room cancels, you will be required to pay the higher rate depending on the final number of guests in your room.

All packages require a non-refundable deposit of $75.00 at the time of registration. This deposit secures your spot at the retreat and is applied to your balance. Registration will stay open until all spots are full or until February 9, which is when I have to turn my final numbers into the hotel staff and food services at Carson Springs. (We have space for 52 scrapbookers.) Your final balance is due by February 9, 2012.
